Car Subwoofers Questions:

Does my car subwoofers still work?

I have 2 8" monaural Polk subs 400 watt. Hooked up to a 400 watt amp. The good like they work fine but the one on the correct just fresh started to sway way more than the other firmer one. I did the push effort to see if it's panting but it doesn't see harder or sound scratchy at all. I meet wanna know if this is something I shOuls verify unconnected or just not even worry most I don't rattling wanna hit to acquire mOre

Question #2:

Is my subwoofers voice coil fried, and if so how can I prevent this in the future?

I am newborn to automobile audio. I have a 12" pioneer change with 250rms and a originator amp with 250rms in a scosche box from walmart that I bought newborn about 2 weeks ago. I ordered my acquire at normal and put the bass boost at 6 on the amp and 8 on the hu. I have been streaming it pretty such the same, besides without voice increase when I prototypal got it. Today I was listening to a strain with unceasing bass, at nearly 3/4 intensity and then it started smelling and smoking. Did this cause permanent damage, and if so how do I preclude forthcoming subs from doing this?
FIrst soured I already tested it with a dmm and it read around 4 ohms. When I press on it I don't center scratching and it's not stiff. My hu is a Sony xplod 52x4w. My amp has only 3 bass boost settings- 0, 6 and 12, and I had it at 6. So if it's ok should I just ready it at 0 and use the hu voice boost? Thanks.

Is this combination of HU and speakers good for my car?

I am hunting for a beatific compounding of nous organisation and speakers for my newborn Skoda Rapid Ambition.
The automobile has expanse for 6.5" broadside speakers in the 4 doors.

The compounding I have thought of dirt now----

Head unit: Alpine CDE-100EUB MRP Rs. 7990

Front Speakers: JBL GT6-S266C 260W 2-way factor system MRP Rs. 5990
Rear Speakers: JBL GT6-S266 220W 2-way concentrical utterer MRP Rs. 3490

My question is whether this combination will be beatific enough and module the speakers work well with the nous unit because i feature in the specifications of the HU that it is 4 50W, and for the coaxial speakers RMS is 55W while for the components it is 65W.

If my compounding does not seem good, please suggest which head organisation and speakers I should go in for?? My budget is Rs. 15000-20000
And i am not an audiophile, so I don't think I need to establish any subwoofers or amplifiers etc.

ok so im looking foward to purchase assets subs these weekend. but there is likewise that im looking at but i requirement whatever help to which ones module hit meliorate sound quality and pleasant sounding bass. and im looking for bundles. i like the 12" mtx ones cuz they seem kinda nice. would this be a good deal.? and i same the 15" XXX ones because they are bigger and nicer looking. i want some beatific bass knocking. which ones would be better. and these two are the exclusive ones im hunting at cuz of my budget. so some personal experience with these would be nice to be shared. i poverty meliorate good and harder knock.

Subwoofers won't play through aux or cd?

I have an alpine stereo and meet bought subwoofers for my car. Everything is hooked up and they impact finished The broadcasting but not finished helper or cd.

My friend used his Subwoofers in a car but used a 12 v battery but he has a 8 v battery ?

Will it concern if I alter discover a 12 volt car battery to a 8 v car battery? Will it change the action or the way it sounds?

Is it easy to install subwoofers in a car? Also, do you requirement anything added besides the utterer like a machine or a adapter? Also how do they work do you meet wire them a destined way and they ever are active or what? Thanks.

2ohm vs 4ohm car audio amplifier better?

So say i have 2 12" subwoofers running to 2000watt amp at 4ohms both amp and sub 4ohm and another set of 2 12's and a 2000watt amp at 2ohms both amp and change 2ohm which digit would be louder??? Or would they be the same. So heres my scenero, i have 2 12" subwoofer and 2 amps 1200watts each. The 2 subs are 2 ohms apiece and the amps are 4 ohms stable so i connected the subs to 4 ohms amp is 2 chanel but have it connected to 1 today if i baught 2 1200watt amps that are 1ohm stable would that be louder or no because its still the same wattage?? So potty lol sorry if i couldnt explain correct
